How do I know if I need a Gen I or Gen II cable?
Gen I cables (like this one) typically have a threaded barrel-style end at the control box. Gen II cables (post-2003) use a slotted retainer and are generally used with 4000 series controls. Please check your control box before ordering.
How do I measure the correct length?
Measure your existing cable from tip-to-tip. For new installations, measure from the control head along the unobstructed cable path to the engine connections, adding 3 feet for the engine loop.
