This MARK LANDERS IKIGAI  statue immortalizes the mythical forward with a fiery temperament in a spectacular horizontal extension. Driven by a visceral will to win, Meiwa's number 10 suspends his flight above the pitch, with a fierce stare and gritted teeth, to unleash his thunderous Tiger Shot.

The dynamics of the sculpture transcend the intensity of high-stakes manga football matches. The action centers around the initial clash between his cleat and the ball, wrapped in sharp yellow and orange translucent resin energy effects. Rising right behind him, a strikingly realistic fierce tiger leaps out of a vortex of pure energy, standing as a visual metaphor for the straight, heavy, and destructive trajectory of his signature strike. The contrast between the deep blue of his historical jersey and the incandescent glow of the beast brings absolute dramatic tension to the piece.

A majestic tiger with golden eyes and wide-open jaws emerges from swirling energy, graphically illustrating the predatory instinct and devastating power of Mark's signature shot.

This statue pays tribute to the champion's roots, featuring the iconic deep blue jersey with the number 10, capturing the very essence of the young prodigy determined to achieve greatness through sheer willpower.

The pitch is swept by white chalk lines and waves of translucent flames surrounding the base, freezing the exact millisecond where the ball's impact makes the entire stadium shake.

An essential centerpiece to celebrate the grit and raw genius of  Mark Landers. Pair him with his greatest rivals and get ready to welcome the ultimate intensity of legendary football into the Ikigai collection!

Engaging and educational
Format: Paperback
We really enjoyed this book as a family. My children were enthralled with characters and depiction of life in a Longhouse village. We supplemented this book with others about the Iroquois Nation and East Coast Native Americans for our homeschooling unit. It was a hit.

Great Story about Native Americans before Europeans
Format: Paperback
I read this book with my kids (11,8) as part of our unit on Native Americans before colonization. They both really enjoyed it. It helped to humanize history for them and show them that although the cultural practices were different, the characters experienced some of the same feelings, relationship challenges, and personal struggles and triumphs that we experience today.

Wonderful book about pre-European North America
Format: Paperback
This is a great book. There's a massive shortage of children's books written by Natives, especially ones that give a picture of pre-European America, and if you've noticed that, THIS IS THE BOOK YOU'RE LOOKING FOR to fill that hole in your home school curriculum/child's library. It's a "boy book," but my seven year old girl got through it without any complaints except that she wanted me to read ahead so I could tell her if anything scary happened. I would say that the plot is a little slow, the main story pauses a lot for background information or traditional stories. But that's not really a complaint, I don't think it's even worth taking off one star. Almost anything by Joseph Bruchac is worth your money, and this one is no exception.
