Unlock the full potential of USB 3.0 with the Vantec Quad Chip 4-Port Dedicated 5Gbps USB 3.0 PCIe Host Card. This high-performance expansion card is engineered for speed, reliability, and expandability, delivering four independent USB 3.0 channels that work in parallel to maximize throughput for external drives, high-speed peripherals, and multimedia devices. The innovative quad-chip design ensures each port has its own fast lane, eliminating contention and preserving peak performance even when multiple devices are active. Whether you’re backing up massive video libraries, editing 4K footage, or running multiple external storage devices, this PCIe host card is built to handle demanding workloads with ease.

Designed for versatility and ease of use, the Vantec USB 3.0 PCIe card is crafted to deliver consistent, dependable performance across a range of system configurations. It’s an ideal upgrade for power users, professionals, and enthusiasts who want to maximize throughput without compromising reliability. The four dedicated controllers provide improved data integrity and steady transfer speeds, helping to shorten backup times, accelerate file transfers, and support multi-device setups in both home and professional environments.

  • Independent lanes for each USB port: Four dedicated USB 3.0 controllers supply autonomous bandwidth per port, so transferring data to one device won’t throttle others.
  • Up to 5 Gbps per port: Each port adheres to USB 3.0 specifications, delivering theoretical speeds up to 5 Gbps for fast file transfers and smooth media playback.
  • Massive combined bandwidth: With four ports operating in parallel, the card provides a theoretical total of up to 20 Gbps, ideal for multi-device workflows and sustained throughput.
  • Quad-chip architecture: The four-controller design minimizes contention, enhances reliability, and improves overall USB performance in busy computing environments.
  • Easy upgrade and broad compatibility: Installs into a PCIe slot on most desktops, boosting USB 3.0 capacity without reconfiguring your system’s core components.

Technical Details of Vantec Quad Chip 4-Port Dedicated USB 3.0 PCIe Host Card

  • Port count: 4 USB 3.0 downstream ports delivering independent bandwidth for each device.
  • Bandwidth per port: Theoretical up to 5 Gbps per port in line with USB 3.0 specifications.
  • Total bandwidth: Theoretically up to 20 Gbps when all four ports are utilized simultaneously.
  • Controller architecture: Quad-chip dedicated USB 3.0 host controllers providing isolated lanes for each port.
  • Interface and compatibility: PCIe expansion card designed to fit standard PCIe slots on desktop motherboards; broadly compatible with common OS driver implementations.

how to install Vantec Quad Chip 4-Port Dedicated USB 3.0 PCIe Host Card

  • Power down your computer and unplug the power cord. Ground yourself to prevent static discharge before handling internal components.
  • Open the computer case and locate an available PCIe slot (preferably a PCIe x1 or larger). If there is a slot cover in place at the back of the case, remove it to allow the bracket to align with the opening.
  • Align the card with the PCIe slot and firmly press down until it seats completely. Ensure the metal bracket aligns with the rear of the case and then secure the card with a chassis screw.
  • Connect any required power adapters only if specified by the card. Many USB 3.0 PCIe cards do not require additional power, but always refer to the product’s documentation to confirm.
  • Reassemble the case, reconnect power, and boot the system. Modern operating systems typically recognize USB 3.0 hardware automatically and install generic drivers; if an installation disc is provided, follow on-screen prompts for driver setup if needed.
  • Test each USB 3.0 port with a high-speed device (such as an external SSD or USB 3.0 hard drive) to verify functionality and speeds. You can monitor device speeds in your operating system’s file transfer utility to confirm performance levels.

Frequently asked questions

  • Q: How many USB 3.0 ports does the card provide? A: It provides four USB 3.0 ports, each capable of delivering up to 5 Gbps (theoretical) with independent bandwidth per port.
  • Q: What is the total theoretical bandwidth of the card? A: The card supports up to a theoretical 20 Gbps when all four ports are utilized simultaneously.
  • Q: Will I need drivers to use the card? A: In most modern Windows, macOS, and Linux environments, the card is recognized automatically and drivers may be installed automatically or via the included disc or vendor site as needed.
  • Q: What type of PCIe slot does it require? A: The card is designed for PCIe slots on desktop motherboards (commonly PCIe x1 or larger); please verify slot availability on your motherboard.

I just knew there was something about Cooper! I’m wondering if he’s about to be included but damn I’m glad he’s at least not a rapist and creepy guy, he just got called on assignment and had to go! This should be interesting! She’s gonna run and then what’s his face is gonna grab her. I’m worried! Wow that was a great book and cliffhanger! Loving this!

Fantastic writing and non-stop action
Format: Kindle
This is a promising, fantastic beginning to what will be a 4-book series. Some readers may be content to read only the first 2 books, but I think you'll find that the story is so good that you'll want to keep reading books 3 and 4. Book 1 is about omega Elvana's introduction to the "Starling" brothers and their search for another missing person, Kelly. It's a bit of a rocky start, with deception and betrayal a key element. Hardly an auspicious beginning. Each member has their own path and purpose in the pack. Their interactions and the resulting narrative are so well-written that I found it difficult to put down. There is a cliffhanger that will have you reaching for book 2 as you finish, so make sure you have it on hand.

Fun read
Format: Kindle
I'm not really into mafia books but I love Roxy Collin's other series so I decided to give it a try. It had the same great romance, spice, swoon-worthy characters and exciting plot that are her signature. Arben was my favorite, although it was a bit sudden how quickly he changed from ignoring her to wanting to be pack. There were almost too many twists/layers of lies to keep track of but I'm looking forward to reading the other books. The only thing that detracted from the story for me was the need for a bit more proofreading. It was mentioned that Kelly is a female and male at different points, leading me to think she changed her mind at some point about the character's gender but didn't go back and edit it to align in all places. Like another reviewer pointed out, step siblings are different than half siblings. They are incorrectly referred to as step siblings because they (allegedly) share the same biological dad. There are a few other typos as well but those aren't a big deal.

Stepbrothers, Secrets, and Sizzling Heat
Format: Kindle
Twisted Lies by Roxy Collins is a wild ride through family secrets, amnesia, and a steamy stepbrother romance. When Kelly discovers her life is built on lies, she ends up tangled with three alpha stepbrothers and an assassin who once helped her through a heat. The tension? Off the charts! The heat is real, and the complications are messy in the best way. Full of twists, secrets, and fated mates? You'll be hooked from page one! Love omegaverse drama with a dash of taboo? This one's for you!

Good read
Format: Kindle
The book has some good twists and turns, but truthfully I was so confused on some things. It didn't have a good flow for me personally. Not sure if it's due to typos or using him/her wrongly, but I thought Kelly was both a guy and a girl. Actually I still don't know, and it made me incredibly frustrated. It would refer to Kelley as him or he, and then again in another part of the story as her she and sister. On to the next book, I hope there is some clarity and a smoother flow. This is a slow burn, and I just don't know how much I care for the Alphas yet. Idk if I recommend.
